Barcelona is a city of art located in the north eastern Spain and one of the most  popular tourist bucket list destinations. Barcelona has been left many Gaudi’s works and the seven of them have been registered in a world heritage as “Antonio Gaudi work group” like Sagrada Familia and Guell Park.

Rome is the central city in Italy where became a center of Christendom from around the 4th century. In addition to the awe-inspiring architectures like Colosseo and Trevi Fountain, it’s also possible to visit “Vatican City” which is the smallest country in the world. You can enjoy the amazing outdoor museum in Rome!

This lantern festival held every November in Thailand is one of the most beautiful festivals in the world. How thousands of lanterns floating to the night sky in Chiang Mai is so fantastic and breathtaking. The lantern festival used as a model in the Disney movie masterpiece “Tangled” is worth seeing.

4. Santorini (Greek)

Santorini is a volcanic island in Greece floating in the Aegean Sea and the topography of the caldera was formed by a explosion of submarine volcano happened before. The contrast between the deep and bright blue of the Aegean Sea and the white wall of houses and street is too good for words!

5. Jiufen (Taiwan)

Do you know the Japanese animation movie “Spirited Away” from Studio Ghibli? Jiufen is a old gold town in Taiwan and Spirited Away got some inspiration form this nostalgic scenery. It is close to the capital city Taipei, so I recommend to visit Jiufen on the way to Taipei!

Angkor Wat is the Buddhist remains which built in the first half of 12th century in Cambodia and it’s one of the top popular world heritages in the world. From the corridor which is believed to be closer to the world of the gods as climbing to the top of the temple, you will be able to see the spectacular sculpture about the epic and gods battle of ancient India.

7. Águeda (Portugal)

Águeda

Águeda is a unique city in Portugal where is decorated with colorful umbrella on some streets when it comes to summer. Although it doesn’t exceed over 30 degree in summer, the locals would cover the sky with colorful umbrella to cool down through July to September. The landscape of those colorful umbrella is breathtaking!

8. Chichen Itza (Mexico)

Chichen Itza is the most famous ruins in the Maya civilization of Latin America, located at the the headland of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Among of the ruins in the jungle, Castillo is a grand pyramid consisting of 9 layers with a height of about 24 meters.

9. Okinawa (Japan)

Okinawa

Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture of Japan consisting of hundreds of islands. It is one of the major domestic bucket list destinations for Japanese due to the tropical climate. In addition to the resort life, you can see the ruins of the Ryukyu Kingdom era and experience the Okinawan food which are affected by China and the United States.
